The Swim for Life Foundation (SFL) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to saving lives through drowning prevention and water safety efforts. The vision for SFL is to bring about a reduction in the number of drowning events with the Safer 3 Program, and to support research, education and programs that promote swimming and water safety.

Continue our development of educational materials. The materials are used by drowning prevention organizations, agencies, swim schools and individuals across the United States and internationally.
Join forces with the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA) as a Sustaining Partner to further our outreach in the drowning prevention community.
Support research concerning swim lessons for infants and toddlers that will have far reaching implications for the benefits of swimming for drowning prevention, health, and fitness.
Work with the USA Swimming Foundation’s Make A Splash Program to explore how the Swim for Life Foundation can provide Safer 3 Drowning Prevention materials to participants in their diversity outreach swim lessons.
